I didn`t want to say it`s a game problem, just pointing out for anybody who would have the same issue. I can confirm it`s probably the Win7 causing this - tried on another PC with Win7 but with a GeForce GTX 950 and have the same problem.
which directx do you use? I read that hd4000 has problems with Directx12 with the unity but I can not confirm anything the problem may not come from there
For anyone struggling to get it running on steam deck, it took some tinkering but this comment on reddit helped me out! This was for general exe files to run on steam deck

This is incredible. As Twin Peaks is my favourite show I cannot wait to play this. How long is the final product going to be gameplay-wise? Should we expect a similar length to contemporary PSX experiences such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill? Keep up the good work! This looks absolutely gorgeous!
Hi! Yes, we use Angelo Badalamenti soundtrack. Impossible to dissociate Twin Peaks from his music... But in the future, we will add original music to give more singularity to the project

Windows 7 is the problem not the game! This game might be an old style but the game engine is modern. I hope you get it working as its fantastic
