I loved this so much! I’ve never wanted a full version of a demo game THIS bad. So nicely done and of course I love the PS1 style graphics. Praying for a full version :’)
I really appreciate the extra side quest that's not a part of the show and I honestly think that was one of the highlights of the demo! I realise it must be difficult to decide how much of the original story and dialogue you use for the game since it will be played by people with different levels of memory of the show.
That being said, I absolutely adored this and was ecstatic when playing it! You save by drinking coffee! The amazing game mechanics and aesthetic which made my feel like I was playing something from the PS2 era, the discreet Life is strange reference, the sound design. I loved it. Take my money for god's sake. The game ran really smoothly as well!
La verdad que la demo es simplemente increíble, tiene todo en su medida justa, esperando con muchas ansias el juego completo, sigue así, dejo mi gameplay para que lo disfruten, abrazo!!
Combining my favorite TV show and my favorite horror game will instantly make me love this. That Black Lodge section was a real mind fuck but i really REALLY enjoyed what I played. I can't wait to see what this is like when it's finished!
hands down one of, if not the best, demo i've ever played. it truly has everything you could want in a twin peaks game - incredible writing, sound bites from the show, and about 1000 easter eggs littered throughout the story. i would recommend this to anyone who loves the original franchise, but also to those who haven't gotten invested just yet. this will surely get them hooked onto the series and the franchise overall. thank you to BRT to bringing this phenomenal series to our PCs.
This was the perfect little demo for a cold wintery day. The 90s vibe was comforting and I actually enjoyed the authentic tank controls, though I appreciate some people may want the option to use modern controls for ease of gameplay. The detail and dedication is impressive, the love for the source material is apparent and it is done with utter respect. I also adored the references to other influential media, each one an exciting little easter egg. I am more hyped for the full release of this, than I am any current gen/AAA games.
The love Blue Rose Team has for both Twin Peaks and the survival horror games of the 90s radiates throughout this demo. I also appreciate that the developers included nods to other media that was influenced by the original series (the Life is Strange one gave me a good chuckle).
I do have have a few notes I think should be addressed before the full release of the game:
1) There were quite a few spelling and grammatical errors in the subtitles.
2) The opening sequence/fanvid went on a little too long and felt somewhat unnecessary since the game later recreates the show's title sequence. I think it would best to pick just one of these to include in the final game.
3) While I know this is likely a reference to how janky the gameplay was in Silent Hill and Resident Evil, I wasted a good amount of time struggling to handle the walking controls. I don't know if this was because I was using a keyboard instead of a controller, but my frustration ended up tainting most of my experience.
Despite these issues, I'm excited to see how the full game will turn out. Even if I have to wait 25 years to see it.

I completely understand why the developer implemented it, but I wish you could turn off thee tank controls.
